Survival

This training consists of two modules, which can be booked together or separately as required:

Principles of Survival

In the theoretical training module, participants learn the basics of survival in difficult and hard-to-reach environments such as polar regions, deserts, jungles or the open sea. They gain insight into the availability and use of appropriate equipment on board an aircraft as well as knowledge and skills for survival in emergency situations including demonstration and use of other emergency equipment.

Water Survival

The practical training module mainly takes place in the water and includes putting on and handling of buoyancy aids as well as the application of survival strategies in the water. Participants train the use and manoeuvring of a life raft, and reproduce different situations including demonstration and use of other emergency equipment.
