International Aviation Systems Engineering and Management degree program

Collaborating with Bremen City University of Applied Sciences, the European Flight Academy provides the option of combining the ATPL training with a Bachelor’s degree program.

Pilot with diverse prospects

PILOT TRAINING-INTEGRATED STUDY PROGRAM "AVIATION SYSTEMS ENGINEERING AND MANAGEMENT" AT BREMEN CITY UNIVERSITY OF APPLIED SCIENCES AND EFA (FOR ATPL)

For all those who want to become a pilot – and at the same time create a secondary means of support in corporate functions – this pilot training-integrated study program is a sound education with many prospects.
The Aviation Systems Engineering and Management degree program at Bremen City University of Applied Sciences integrates the theoretical modules of the pilot training. In a first step, the basic competencies of machine engineering are taught; these are followed by modules offering in-depth knowledge in aviation-specific subject areas as well as by key qualifications in the fields of psychology, business administration, and management. You can begin your pilot training after the fourth academic semester. Graduates will obtain the internationally recognized academic degree of “Bachelor of Engineering.” The language of instruction at Bremen City University is German.

The application processes for the university degree program and pilot training are separate. You apply for the degree program directly at Bremen City University of Applied Sciences, while the application for pilot training is submitted directly to EFA.
It is recommended that you complete the selection for the pilot training before applying to Bremen City University of Applied Sciences. This is the only way to ensure that you are also eligible for participation in the practical part of the training at EFA.
Alternatively, the selection process for pilot training can also be completed during the 1st or 2nd semester of the bachelor's program. However, if the EFA selection is not passed, this will only lead to the completion of the bachelor's degree without the possibility of pilot training.
Graduates will obtain the internationally recognized academic degree of “Bachelor of Engineering.” The language of instruction at Bremen City University is German.
