Lufthansa Aviation Training (LAT), the leading full-service provider for apprenticeship and in-service flight training for aviation cockpit and cabin crew staff, has been awarded with an extended recertification of the quality management standardization ISO 9001:2015 during an audit in summer 2017, valid for all LAT GmbH locations in Germany after Lufthansa Flight Training and Swiss Aviation Training have merged at the beginning of the year. Besides, LAT has received the first ISO 29990:2010 certification for its training program.

Since the former Lufthansa Flight Training has been certified according to ISO 9001 standards for many years, which was also the case for Swiss Aviation Training with regard to the ISO 29990:2010 certification, both certifications for the newly founded Lufthansa Aviation Training underline the progress that has been made in the merger process and confirm the high quality standards. Both certifications can be renewed during a follow-up audit being scheduled for September 2018. Especially the 29990:2010 certification is a common reference, recognizing LAT as a competent full-service provider as well as LAT’s clients as the ISO standard assist them in finding the right partner to work with.
