How do you keep up with the growing expectations of onboard service in first class? In addition to a maximum focus on the customer, intercultural skills, above-average communication, and culinary knowledge are essential when satisfying premium customers. High-quality cabin training is therefore a key success factor for this critical customer group.

Our three-day Service Training for First Class focuses on the development and expansion of the technical skills specific to the role of a flight attendant. We make participants aware of premium customers’ importance and expectations and use this as the basis for the their own service standards. With decades of practical experience on board a five-star airline, the Lufthansa trainers provide the keys to top-level cabin service through hands-on lessons.

Objective

Flight attendants are given the skills necessary to meet the airline’s service standards for first class.

Procedure

The participants first reflect on the requirements of their new role as well as the tasks in first class. They then familiarize themselves with the expectations of premium customers and, through theory and practice, acquire the necessary skills for taking care of guests in first class. In our mock-ups, they get to know the hardware and the working stations, including the galley, and apply their knowledge in realistic exercises.
