- Versatile use for flight crews and ground staff

In air travel, inconspicuous objects such as batteries, e-cigarettes, and matches are also classified as dangerous goods. Aviation employees have always been trained to recognize so-called dangerous goods. The introduction of new requirements for training concepts on the part of the Luftfahrt-Bundesamt (LBA, German Federal Aviation Office) lead to a group-wide project and two premieres. Lufthansa Aviation Training (LAT) implemented competence-based training for all Lufthansa Group airlines for the first time. Likewise for the first time, LAT developed a training course not only for flight crews, but also for teams on the ground.
